Problem Running Command Line
My department is slowly migrating from SOATest 2021 to SOATest 2024 but still have a significant number of tests running 2024. Recently one of the projects running on our build, deployment, and test server started throwing this error after running fine for a long time:
[echo] **************************************************************** [echo] Running SOAtest tests [echo] **************************************************************** [exec] soatestcli: Version 2021.2.0 (10.5.2.202110102000) -- Copyright (C) 2021 Parasoft Corporation [exec] ERROR: Error: Command-line feature is not licensed
The change that was made to the project was to add some database script to the build. The tests themselves were not changed at all. Tests that use the command line in other projects continue to work. Has anyone heard of this happening and do you know what possible causes may be? Is there something I should be looking at?
I realize this version has not been supported for sometime now but I hope to find a solution that will work until we can get it updated.
The copy of SOATest used on the build server is licensed with the Automation Edition and that includes the Command Line.
Thanks!

SOATest License Activation FailedCan you try the same resolution?
Parasoft Support recommended that instead of running SOATest and Virtualize that we just install SOATest since we have not currently licensed Virtualize.

Thanks benken_parasoft!
We are going to try moving to a newer version of SOATest (without Virtualize). I still don't understand why just one of the projects is throwing this error but we are using this as an incentive to update to the latest version.0
