I wanted to test an App using SOAtest. How to invoke that app using SOAtest and continue recording the scripts.
I can use the URL to invoke the web application but to test an App what should be done?
The app I am trying to work on has functionalities similar to the web applications except this can be tested only using the particular app.
Can you please let me know the possibilities of this using SOAtest?

Are you testing a mobile app or a desktop app? SOAtest supports web applications, and it can execute Appium scripts against a mobile app - but it does not support desktop applications. SOAtest's sweet spot is testing the APIs that all of those apps make to the backend.
