Edit: To incorporate benken_parasoft suggestion:

To change the Parasoft Loadtest Java versions:

  1. Execute Parasoft Loadtest with the "-ask" argument:

  2. A menu will pop up with choices of different Java versions that can be detected and an option to point to a Java installation manually:

  3. Selecting "Ok" will initialize Loadtest with the selected Java installation.
    Loadtest details from JVisualVM:

  4. Subsequent initialization of Loadtest will start with the declared Java version from step 2

No, please don't manually modify the Windows registry. Just start loadtest.exe with the -ask argument. Load Test will prompt you for which Java to use and happily modify the Windows registry on your behalf.
