External tool does not exit - External tool should not require user input

I want to run an executable (.exe) that needs to an Enter key when it completes so it can exit. How can I do this using the External Tool? When running the External Tool and invoking the .exe, it nevers stops because the .exe needs the Enter key to exit.
Does anyone know how to work this out?

I apologize that this response is coming so late. We have recently upgraded our forums, and my email notification of new topics has been inconsistent. It looks like we've ironed out the kinks now.
The External Tool is intended to run applications that do not require user input. The reason for this is that SOAtest is designed for automated test runs. Requiring the user to hit the Enter key on every run seems to defeat the purpose of making it automated. Could the exe be modified so that it does not require any user input?
