Setting environment variable value using parasoft
Hi,
There is a requirement in our project to set environment variables value during runtime. So that in our test appropriate values set in the endpoint and execute the test properly.
I am expecting like setEnvironmentVariableValue method to change the values.

Hi Ranjith,
In SOAtest/Virtualize, environment variables are typically resolved from the active environment configuration before test execution. If you need the endpoint value to vary by runtime context, the supported approach is to define the values in an environment and activate the appropriate environment for execution. You can reference variables in test fields using ${VARIABLE_NAME}.
If you need the active environment to be selected from the command line, you can use the -environment option. You can also override the default environment for execution in the Test Configuration.
If your requirement is to set or modify environment variable values dynamically during the test run itself, that goes beyond standard documented usage and may depend on your specific setup. In that case, our Professional Services team can help evaluate the best approach for your environment.
