Aynchronous Request on Virtual Service

I have a requirement to send an async request on a virtual service. I am using the aync tool plugin, however it is not working for me. I am attaching a REST Client step after the Async tool step but the actual request is not being sent, even if I apply logs I can confirm it is not happening.
I have done this setup before with Kafka using both async and Kafka plugins without issues, however this time my async request is not Kafka but a simple HTTP call.

Is there a way to do this?

    Hi,

    Yes, you should be able to use REST Client with the Async tool. It would be helpful to know more about your pva setup. Is the REST Client chained to the Async tool? Or is it after it? If you have a simple example you could share that would be helpful.
