About WebKing support for Hypertext Apps
Does WebKing support Microsoft Hypertext Applications? Webking can access HTAs correctly and run static tests on HTA files. Although WebKing will not be able to record actions taken on the HTA, if the HTA generates http traffic (such as opens a webpage, etc.), WebKing can record this, as well as perform tests on those pages including functional tests.
Since HTAs are currently limited to functionality on IE 5.5 and above, WebKing does not provide any specific support for them. Future releases of WebKing may provide support if HTAs become more widely used in web development.
