The releases of C/C++test and C/C++test CT 2025.2 are packed with new features, enhancements, and extended compiler support to elevate your static code analysis and testing experience.

What’s New

  • AI agents that empower you. The new MCP server enables AI agents to autonomously run code analysis, fix code issues, generate tests, and capture coverage. This means you can automate tedious tasks and accelerate your development cycles while maintaining the highest standards.

  • Protection for GPU, AI, and embedded code. Now you can run static analysis directly on .cu files for CUDA C/C++, enabling you to apply standards like MISRA, AUTOSAR C++14, and CERT across CPU and GPU environments. The result is unmatched consistency and confidence throughout your entire code base.

  • Certified C/C++test CT extends compliance to GoogleTest. Our TÜV SÜD certification extends to GoogleTest in January 2026. The planned certification means you can use their trusted open-source GoogleTest framework while generating the certified evidence you need for compliance.

Enhancements

  • Smarter compliance for faster certification. Streamline triage and reporting with prioritization schema and enhanced rules accuracy for MISRA C/C++, AUTOSAR C++14, CERT C, JSF, and HICPP. Enhanced coverage now delivers statement, branch, and MC/DC metrics in a single pass, cutting documentation time significantly.

  • Extended support for a broader ecosystem. We’ve extended compiler and IDE support to keep pace with your evolving ecosystem:

    • IAR RISC-V 3.x
