This release extends our commitment to supporting modern development environments with the addition of .NET 9 and C# 13 compatibility. dotTEST now empowers teams to adopt the latest Microsoft stack with confidence.
A major highlight is the introduction of the AI Assistant—an interactive tool integrated with dotTEST’s product documentation and powered by external LLM providers. Accessible directly from Visual Studio 2022, the AI Assistant offers instant, context-aware help and guidance to make onboarding and day-to-day usage more efficient.
Product Enhancements and Updates
Improved Reporting and Customization
dotTEST reports are now more customizable than ever, allowing you to tailor your output using XSL transformations across all supported formats.
Additionally, configurations can now be effortlessly imported from remote locations, enabling greater flexibility for enterprise environments.
Code Coverage Refinements
This release modernizes dotTEST’s code coverage process, replacing the legacy coverage wizard with a dedicated, user-friendly agent UI. Enhanced support for standalone application coverage and an expanded REST API further simplify coverage collection.
Static Analysis
Users can now extend dotTEST’s static analysis with custom Roslyn analyzers, supporting both third-party and user-developed rules for tailored compliance and code quality checks.
