Java Cryptography Extension
SOAtest uses a new key store provider, which supports more key stores. However, in many cases it requires the JCE unlimited strength Jurisdiction Policy Files to be installed.

We cannot bundle it with SOAtest because US export laws restrict exporting cryptography technology to certain countries (and some countries have restrictions of their own in using such technology), and SOAtest is distributed globally.

Please follow the directions below from the JCE section from the SOAtest docs to use the Unlimited Strength JCE:

Unlimited Strength Java Cryptography Extension Installation
Important: In order to perform security tests using the XML Verifier, XML Signer, or XML Encryption tools, or if using Key Stores, you will need to download and install the Unlimited Strength Java Cryptography Extension. To do so, go to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.html and download the Java Cryptography Extension Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files 1.5.0.

Note: If you are using Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2, you'll need to downlaod the JCE files from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

The files downloaded should be installed into the following directories on your machine:

For Windows:
C:\Program Files\Parasoft\SOAtest\4.5.2\JRE\1.5.0\lib\security.

For UNIX:
[JRE installation directory]/lib/security

or

[J2SDK installation directory]/jre/lib/security

You must then restart SOAtest for the changes to take effect.
