Should License Server for some reason become corrupt or configured incorrectly beyond reasonable measure, and you have a backup of the License Server configuration files, you can restore License Server back to its original state.

As a measure of precaution, please shut down all Concerto services before proceeding to restore License Server. Additionally, you will need access to the Concerto server in order to perform this restoration.

1) Locate the Concerto installation directory, then go to the LicenseServer directory within.
2) Copy the contents of the LicenseServer directory to a location outside of the Concerto installation, then delete the original contents.
3) Locate the Concerto backup directory, then go into the LicenseServer directory in the backup.
4) Move the common_options.xml file in the backup LicenseServer directory to the LicenseServer directory in the installation.
5) Move the conf directory (with its contents inside) in the backup LicenseServer directory to the LicenseServer directory in the installation.
6) Move the tmp directory (with its contents inside) in the backup LicenseServer directory to the LicenseServer directory in the installation.
7) Start up the Concerto services.
8) Go to License Server, and access the Licenses Summary page. Confirm that the expected license tokens are present.
9) Go to the View Supported Tools page. Confirm that all of the expected supported tools are present.

In the situation where you're not able to get the license tokens you should expect, you should shut down the services again, and restore the contents of the LicenseServer directory that you copied in Step 2. Otherwise, you can remove those contents.
